Meet Ben & Kim Story

Ben discovered his talent for creating beautiful decks and outdoor living spaces while working part-time construction during high school and college. After college, he became a firefighter and started Story Custom Decks to supplement his income, valuing the teamwork and leadership skills gained from firefighting. By 2017, Ben focused on the business full-time, using his creativity to turn clients' visions into enjoyable spaces.

In 2021, Ben's mom, Kim, with over 20 years of business experience, joined the team, managing day-to-day operations. Story Custom Decks is a licensed residential contractor in Georgia (RBCO007548) with all required insurance.
